Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to): Assist Executive Director with day-to-day tasks Direct management of the esteemed Gillibrand Women’s Mentoring Initiative. Research potential corporate and foundation funders, event sponsors, and individual donors. Draft correspondence to funders, sponsors, and prospects. Candidates must also be detail orientated and able to work on multiple projects at one time. Candidates must be comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Candidates must be available to work a minimum of 25-30 hours per week between the hours of 9am - 6pm. For the right candidate special arrangements can be made. Graduate intern will receive a stipend at the end of the internship that is commensurate with performance. Note: We do have other internship opportunities that have less of a time commitment, but those are not eligible to receive a stipend. Stipend: Graduate level interns can earn up to $3000 per semester. (Note: This is commensurate with performance.) Internships for class credit are also welcomed for undergraduate students.
